Ann Chase and husband Mike Zemke
About Ann Chase:
A. R. Chase was a Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Florida, Central Florida Research and Education Center in Apopka from 1979 until 1994 when she retired and was named Professor Emeritus. Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctorate in Plant Pathology from the University of California at Riverside. She has directed research on diagnosis and control of ornamental diseases, especially tropical foliage plants. Over the past 30 years, she has authored over 800 scientific and popular papers, as well as a number of books. She writes the monthly newsletter Chase News, now in its 8th year.
